What time did the crew report a leak?

Captain Schmitt’s journal entry reveals that at 19:32 (using 24-hour clock time) the submarine equipment reported a leak. Look at the coordinates on the front of the box, focusing on the second number which is the water depth. Find the coordinates: (W)19, (N)32. The symbol on the door is a Jellyfish. Open your first door!

Search for similar symbols on the sub. Use them to find the unknown diving depths.

Line up the two disks (room 4 and 23), to create the symbol on the clue card (red square + 3 pyramid dots). With this alignment, find the first symbol on the hull (triangle + 3 linear dots). Now read the corresponding diving depth printed on the back of the symbol (150). Proceed in the same way with middle and lower symbols on the hull. (Solution numbers: 150, 140, 190). On the coloring clue card, color in the spaces with these three numbers. The result reveals a hidden key shape. The final door is unlocked.

The syllables on the clue cards from rooms 24, 3, 22, 4, 23, 8, 21 and 11 form the word: BIOLUMINESCENCE (Greek bios “life” and Latin lumen “light”). It describes creatures’ ability to produce light themselves through biochemical processes. This also occurs in marine animals. The last of the sunken submarine discoveries have now been revealed!
